Don’t let the word ‘organic’ fool you, T2 Red is tough. It provides protection against the big nasty termites (aka mastotermes darwiniensis) found up north, while being safe for you, your family, and your pets. Our industry-leading termite treatment mimics the termite resistant properties of some plant species. In fact, the active ingredients are similar to those found in flea collars and head lice shampoos.

Unlike barriers, meshes, or sprays, T2 Red is good to go for decades to come. Forget costly annual maintenance, all we recommend to protect the structure of the home from termite of borer attack is to ensure it’s built with T2 Red and its surrounds don’t become a jungle. Good common sense really.

Treated framing is carpenter friendly, readily available, workable, and easy to cut, notch or drill. This makes it easy to perform future home renovations where alternative building supples can prove tricky.

The pine used in our T2 Red is sourced from sustainably managed Aussie plantations. In fact, building with T2 Red is an eco-conscious endeavour, because unlike some other building materials, the manufacturing of T2 Blue benefits from the use of biofuels. Not only that, but timber is renewable and locks carbon away. And as it happens, approximately 50% of the dry weight of timber is carbon absorbed from the atmosphere.
